The ring is lovely and really comfortable even in regular ear piercings. The jewelry is the same thickness as the maintenance jewelry used for first piercings, so it won't stretch the holes if you use it in lower ear piercings. The ring has an easy hinge mechanism for attachment.

The color is created by coating the jewelry with the PVD method (Physical Vapor Deposition). This gives the jewelry a very durable surface. The method has been used in medical procedures since the 1980s. The jewelry coating is also autoclavable.
