This labret is made of implant-grade titanium (Ti6Al-4V ELI, Grade 23 – ASTM F-136), which is a safe, hypoallergenic, and long-term wear material.
The gold-colored surface of the jewelry is made using the PVD method (Physical Vapor Deposition), in which the color is attached to the surface of the metal by vaporization. The method produces a very durable coating that is highly resistant to wear and moisture, and does not chip or fade with use.
