The delicately curved Laurel is an elegant and striking piece of jewelry. The marquise-cut clear crystals are arranged in a fan shape, creating a light, airy and elegant ensemble. The low-profile shape makes the jewelry comfortable to wear in everyday life too – it doesn't stand out too much from the skin, but brings a beautiful, finished sparkle.
This labret is made of implant-grade titanium (Ti6Al-4V ELI, Grade 23 – ASTM F-136), which is a safe, hypoallergenic, and long-term wear material.
The gold-colored surface of the jewelry is made using the PVD method (Physical Vapor Deposition), in which the color is attached to the surface of the metal by vaporization. The method produces a very durable coating that is highly resistant to wear and moisture, and does not chip or fade with use. PVD coating is known for its durability and safety, and it has also been used in medical instruments since the 1980s.
The Laurel model has an internally threaded thread , meaning the thread is inside the shank. This means that the jewelry is gentler when placed in the piercing canal because the shank surface is smooth and the protruding thread does not pass through the skin.
The stones are carefully attached and they stay firmly in the jewelry.
